Loic Remy, QPR – £8m
Wenger admitted at the end of the 2013/14 campaign that his team had relied too much upon Olivier Giroud in attack over the past 12 months.
The arrival of Sanchez will help alleviate this problem, but the Chilean isn’t a recognised No.9 and direct competition for Giroud is needed.
Having impressed on-loan with Newcastle last term and with a relatively cheap £8m release clause, Remy could be the ideal option.
