It’s one thing upgrading your squad whilst losing your best player. It’s quite another upgrading the squad, whilst keeping your star man, which is exactly the impressive feat managed by Liverpool. Despite interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid, Liverpool kept hold of Luis Suarez and added significantly to an already impressive looking group of players. Mamadou Sakho, Simon Mignolet and Victor Moses look particularly good signings.
