15. Hull City
Hull’s summer business shouldn’t be sniffed out, particularly after they smashed their transfer record to sign classy “quarterback” Tom Huddlestone from Spurs. Boss Steve Bruce snapped up a number of players with Premier League experience and the likes of Danny Graham and Jake Livermore will have a point to prove after arriving at the KC on loan.
The club’s worst decision of the summer remains the comical name change to Hull City Tigers but Bruce was understandably unable to attract top quality new additions to Humberside and the club spent less than fellow new boys Cardiff City and Crystal Palace, after failing to land Shane Long on deadline day.
