The Anaheim Ducks sealed a 6-5 shootout win over the St. Louis Blues in arguably Saturday’s game of the night, with Nick Bonino scoring the game-winning goal.

After falling to defeat to the Dallas Stars the night before, the Ducks appeared to be in risk of heading toward another loss after falling behind 3-1 in the first period.
Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau saw his side come out firing in the second though, as they scored three unanswered goals before the Blues tied it up in the final period.
Bobby Ryan had two goals and two assists, while Teemu Selanne, Andrew Cogliano and Saku Koivu all got themselves on the score-sheet.
However, the hero of the night was goalie Viktor Fasth who stopped three of six shootout attempts to become the first goalie in eight years to win his first five starts.
The win keeps Anaheim in second spot in the Western Conference, still on the tails of the Chicago Blackhawks. For St. Louis, this latest defeat leaves them in seventh place but still hanging on to their hopes of a play-off spot.
