It was Murray’s sixth-straight loss to Djokovic, resulting in some to question the relationship between the Scot and Mauresmo.
Murray admitted that his game had “regressed” after Mauresmo took a five-week break following the Australian Open, but the Wimbledon champion clearly took offence after one Twitter follower in particular levelled criticism at his mentor.
The follower is clearly well-known to Murray, saying: “You have some pretty strong opinions so let me try answer a few of your questions/complaints etc.”

Murray’s mood then darkened after he was pressed on performances under Mauresmo.
The tweeter @HomeboyHotel protects his anonymity, but it’s clear by Murray’s responses that he is a long-term critic of the two-time Grand Slam winner.
@HomeboyHotel there is nothing wrong with strong opinions at all… But it’s strange to have such strong opinions without knowing little

@HomeboyHotel it’s nothing to do with that… You have a problem with amelie and blame alot on her but you have no idea about the work we do

@HomeboyHotel you say she says “yes” to everything also but you haven’t been involved in any conversation with me and team
