Di Maria has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford following a below average start to his Premier League career, but it seems Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could be keen to lure the Argentine international to the Emirates.
According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal may consider making a bid for the former Real Madrid man, who cost Manchester United a British record transfer fee of £59.7m last summer.
Di Maria has also been heavily linked with moves to Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, by The Daily Mail’s report suggest the Gunners could make a move for the winger.
If United are to allow Di Maria to leave, it is likely Louis van Gaal would sell the 27-year-old abroad to either Bayern or PSG rather than to one of its closest Premier League rivals, putting the potential move in jeopardy.
