Man United winger Angel di Maria has agreed a five-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
The Argentine international has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford following a below-par debut season with the Red Devils, and it now seems the former Real Madrid man is heading for a Premier League exit.
According to Daily Star [via Le Parisien], Di Maria has told PSG of his desire to join the club and a £42.8m transfer fee is expected to be agreed between both clubs.
Di Maria missed Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the United States after taking time to recover from the Copa America, however the report suggests he could head to America to join PSG’s own tour of the country.
Le Parisien claims the deal could be completed before PSG face United in a friendly on July 29.
Di Maria struggled to live up to his £58.7m price tag during his first season at United, scoring just three goals in 27 Premier League appearances.
