Angel di Maria could complete his move from Manchester United to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain by this weekend, reports suggest.
The Argentine international is understood to be keen on a move to the French capital, and The Telegraph reports PSG are pushing to complete a deal before the two sides face in a pre-season clash in the United States this weekend.
It is believed PSG will pay a minimum of £45m for Di Maria’s services and want to avoid having the winger meet-up with the Red Devils this weekend.
According to The Telegraph’s report, PSG sporting director Olivier Letang has spoken with United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about Di Maria but the two clubs have yet to come to an agreement.
Di Maria struggled in his debut season in England, managing just four goals for the Red Devils following his much-hyped arrival from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
An attempted burglary on his home in February is said to have knocked his confidence and the Argentine is said to have struggled to adapt to life in Manchester.
