Spaniard wants club’s fans to sing their hearts out at Wembley this weekend.
Swansea City defender Angel Rangel believes that the Welsh club will win Sunday’s Capital One Cup final against minnow Bradford City if the club’s supporters make the same amount of noise as they did at their Championship play-off final two years ago.
The Spanish right back is hoping that the club can become the first-ever side from outside of England to win the League Cup when they take on Bradford at Wembley.
“It was as if the supporters were on the pitch alongside us,” Rangel says in the Daily Mail.
“Everyone is very excited around the city. We feel the excitement of the supporters. We understand how important this is to everyone.
“We know the Jack Army will be out in full force at Wembley. One of my fondest memories at this club so far was when the team bus was pulling into Wembley for the play-off final and there were thousands of supporters in black and white making a lot of noise – and I mean a lot of noise!
“It just set the tone for the day, and we knew we had to win for them.”
