The Professional Footballers’ Association released the official nominees for the Player of the Year award.
The nominees are Chelsea pair Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane, Manchester United stopper David de Gea, Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez and Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.

Blues winger Hazard and Tottenham forward Kane are the undoubted favourites to claim the award.
The news is all over Twitter, and plenty of Premier League fans have been quick to have their say on what they think of the nominations.
While there has been a great deal of support for the likes of Kane and Hazard, Chelseas fans are fuming that Liverpool’s Coutinho has been chosen ahead of Cesc Fabregas, who has produced 16 assists.
