Reports are suggesting that the former Man United midfielder drove to Cleverley’s Cheshire home and repeatedly rang the doorbell for 15 minutes in order to confront the England international.
However, there was no answer and Keane, who resides nearby, stormed off, and the whole event was captured on CCTV at his gated home.
Keane quit his role as Paul Lambert’s number two last month claiming that he could not cope with the demands of juggling his jobs with Villa and the Republic of Ireland.
But soon after a series of unconfirmed reports emerged of training ground bust ups with the likes of Fabian Delph and Gabriel Agbonalhor.
Keane had initially thought that the stories were leaked by Cleverley, but has apparently now accepted that the on loan star had nothing to do with the reports.
