Although a decision from Turan is imminent, a move to the Premier League is not a done deal as he is also expected to be sought-after by AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. Turan has spent his last four seasons with Atletico Madrid, and he was part of a La Liga championship team in the 2013-14 season.
Leaving Atletico Madrid appears to be a foregone conclusion, judging by the 28-year-old’s agent’s comments.
“Arda has won everything at Atletico Madrid in four years. We’re in search of better options for him and definitely decided to leave Atletico Madrid,” Ahmed Bulut said on his client’s behalf.
Man United has already made big steps to improve their midfield, as they will be signing Memphis Depay and are expected to finish a deal for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
