The Arizona Cardinals’ bad luck with injuries continued on Thursday night continued when they lost quarterback Drew Stanton to a sprained knee.
The Cardinals improved to 11-3 with a win over the St. Louis Rams and clinched the playoffs for the first time since 2009, but they will be forced to move forward with either Logan Thomas or Ryan Lindley as their starting quarterback.
Unlike other injuries they have endured this season, the Cardinals may have caught a break with Stanton as he may possibly return for the playoffs.
