NBA draft news: Arkansas F Bobby Portis will consider entering 2015 NBA Draft
Forward Stanley Johnson announced that he will enter the NBA Draft after playing his freshman season at Arizona, which comes as no surprise since he is expected to be a top-10 pick.
Johnson averaged 13.8 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Wildcats in his only season as a Wildcat, and he won Pac-12 Freshman of the Year for his performance.
His departure puts him in company with forwards Brandon Ashley and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson along with point guard T.J. McConnell, who is being lost to graduation.
However, the Wildcats have proven to be excellent at recruiting as they demonstrated by landing Johnson, so building a championship contending team should be no problem for head coach Sean Miller.
The Wildcats will look to win a third consecutive Pac-12 title next season as they hope to get over the Elite Eight hump.
