Arsenal secured a second FA Cup final in succession after squeezing pasta Reading side that gave the Gunners a run for their money and, once again, Alexis Sanchez saved his team.
Coming into a semi-final as overwhelming favourites yet again, Arsenal seemed to make all the errors they were guilty of against Wigan this time last year. Reading definitely deserved more from the game and, inevitably, a goalkeeping howler gifted Arsene Wenger’s men a place in the final.

Diego Costa likely to return for Chelsea’s potential title decider with Arsenal
Here is how the Gunners rated against Wigan.
GK) Wojciech Szczesny – 5
Complete howler for Reading’s goal and given that it was the only real chance he had to deal with, the Polish international is doing little to convince Wenger that he has a future at Arsenal.
RB) Mathieu Debuchy – 6
Was visibly rusty, starting his first game since January and Arsene Wenger was lucky to not rue that selection.
CB) Per Mertesacker – 6
Went off early on the second half with an injury, but struggled in the first half with Jamie Mackie’s pace.
CB) Laurent Koscielny – 7
Grew as the game wore on in the second half and was a calming presence at a time when Arsenal needed it most.
LB) Kieran Gibbs – 5
Shocking performance from the England man throughout and was sleeping at the back post for Reading’s goal. Nacho Monreal’s position is safe.
