Liverpool and Manchester United battle it out for top spot…
A table has been released by Sporting Intelligence, outlining the average number of TV viewers ever Premier League club received this season.
Interestingly, traditional top flight clubs with big fan-bases, such as Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham struggle, while probably the country’s two biggest clubs are at the very top – despite their contrasting fortunes this term.
20) Fulham – Average audience (1000s) – 726.8
Hardly anyone watched the Cottagers, and it’s not hard to see why. They dumped out of the league having conceded 85 goals.
19) Crystal Palace – Average audience (1000s) – 747.3
Tony Pulis’s side aren’t the best to watch, but they’re mighty effective – finishing 11th in the actual table.
18) West Brom – Average audience (1000s) – 784.3
A relatively uninspiring season from the Baggies saw them finish 17th, narrowly avoiding relegation.
