Could have arguably done more to score himself a goal, but provided a direct attacking option up Arsenal’s left. His ability to burst into the box late was often dangerous, too.

Wasn’t as heavily involved as some of his attacking teammates, but his role in helping the team retain possession was crucial.

• 12 Olivier Giroud – 8

The perfect way to bounce back from the Frenchman. Despite recent off the field problems, Giroud bagged two goals early on to set the tone for the Gunners’ stroll in the park.
