The Czech is a fan of starlet Gnabry.
In more good news for Arsenal fans talented youngster Serge Gnabry has signed a long-term deal with the club and Tomas Rosicky has praised the teenager.
With 15 years separating the two Gunners men Rosicky can certainly offer some words of wisdom to the young German having experienced the highs and lows of football at the Emirates Stadium.
“He is a very talented boy; 18 years old and he still has plenty of things to learn and he will find no better place to learn than here,” the 33-year-old told the club’s website.
“He’s got a great environment for his growth and the potential and talent is there, so let’s see how he will develop.”
Gnabry has made five appearances for the north London side in all competitions so far this season, including starting two Premier League ties.
In that time the winger has also scored a goal and provided one assist as manager Arsene Wenger slowly integrates the starlet into the first team.
Learning from experienced heads such as Rosicky, Per Mertesacker and Mikel Arteta can only be a good thing for the Germany under-19 international.
Gnabry arrived at the club in 2011 when joining from the Stuttgart youth academy and made the player’s debut last campaign.
If things continue as they are then the midfielder is set for great things under Wenger at the Emirates, where national team-mates Mertesacker and Mesut Ozil are helping to lead a great charge on the title of late.
