Gunners tracking FC Twente’s Rosales.
Arsenal have added FC Twente’s Roberto Rosales to their list of candidates to replace Bacary Sagna, should the Frenchman leave the club next summer – reports the Daily Mail.
Sagna contract’s has less than 12 months to run and the France international, 30, is reportedly being targeted by Ligue 1 giants PSG and AS Monaco, and clubs in Qatar.
The Gunners may turn to Roslaes, 24, who has impressed in a defence that has conceded just five goals in nine matches so far this term for table-topping Twente.
The versatile star was the first Venezuelan to score in the Champions League – and he did so against Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham (see video below).
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is thought to be still be hopeful of persuading Sagna, who has started the season in impressive form, of extending his contract by a further year.
