Joao Moutinho hands in transfer request at AS Monaco.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all had their ears pricked by the news that cultured Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho has handed in a transfer request at Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco, report the Express, meaning that the former FC Porto star could be available for as little as £25 million in January.

Monaco are struggling this season under new manager Leonardo Jardim, after selling both Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez in the summer, and they toiled to a draw at home against lowly Lorient at the weekend to keep them well adrift of Paris Saint Germain and Marseille at the top of the table.
Moutinho has reportedly grown frustrated by life at Stade Louis II and is hoping to move on in January, with a trio of Premier League giants all reportedly looking to add an international standard midfielder to their rosters.
