El Shaarawy looks set to move to England.
AC Milan starlet Stephen El Shaarawy looks set to leave the San Siro and Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested, according to the Daily Star.
Despite bursting onto the scene in a big way at Milan last season – scoring 16 Serie A goals – the 21-year-old has been out of favour at the club this term and has started just one league match.
The emergence of Mario Balotelli as the golden boy at the club means that El Shaarawy has been sidelined by manager Massimiliano Allegri.
As a result the forward is interested in leaving Italy and a host of Premier League sides are ready to pounce for the Italy international.
According to reports the Reds are leading the chase, although the Gunners could do well to pick up their pursuit with a lack of depth up-front for the north Londoners.
Despite the fine form of Arsene Wenger’s side, which has seen them win seven of nine league ties and sit top of the table, Olivier Giroud is the only striker that has shown real quality at the Emirates Stadium.
For the Blues and Spurs they are already fairly well stocked in the attacking third, although question marks over Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe at White Hart Lane means Andre Villas-Boas will be keeping a close eye.
El Shaarawy was a product of the Genoa youth system, but moved to Milan in the summer of 2011 and has gone onto make 78 appearances in all competitions since then, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists.
