Juventus star Paul Pogba says he was wanted by the London duo and AC Milan this summer.
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has claimed that both Arsenal and Chelsea were interesting in signing him this summer.
The France international left Old Trafford for Juventus in July 2012 and enjoyed a fine debut season for the Scudetto winners, netting five times in 28 Serie A appearances.
The Gunners were thought to have bid for the 20-year-old in late August before landing club record signing Mesut Ozil and Pogba has admitted that both Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as AC Milan, were interested in his services.
“Were there other clubs chasing me? Yes, but I had my mind only on Juventus,” Pogba told Sky Italia.
“At the time I heard of interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, and in Italy AC Milan, but there is no one like Juve.
“As for my future? I’m glad to be here. I want to win as many trophies as I can in this shirt.”
