The transition at the Britannia Stadium from Tony Pulis to Mark Hughes has worked well and now the Potteries are even playing attractive football would you believe.
There were limited transfers coming in to the club last summer, but the acquisition of Netherlands international Pieters has to be considered one of the best in the division.
