The 18-year-old made his debut for the Hammers last season in an FA Cup tie against Championship side Nottingham Forest, which was followed by another appearance in last month’s League Cup defeat to Sheffield United.
The centre-back has risen through the ranks of the club’s youth academy, and according to reports in the capital both Arsenal and Chelsea are keen to secure his future.
The Hammers, though, are not thought to be keen on losing him, and are preparing a new £4,000 per-week deal to keep him at the club.
