Schalke’s Draxler would be open to a move to England.
Schalke 04 winger Julian Draxler is one of the brightest young prospects in European football currently and several top sides are tracking the German.
Among those are Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United and the trio have been given hope with the 20-year-old admitting a move away from Schalke would be appealing.
“There are for me Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United,” Draxler was quoted by Goal.
“I say quite honestly that I dream of one day playing for one of these teams – but I also say that I’ve always loved Schalke.
“But my dream is still to play for the biggest club in Europe.”
The Germany international is set to face the Blues in their Champions League encounter and Jose Mourinho will be able to get first hand experience of what the attacking midfielder is capable of.
The 50-year-old will of course be hoping that Draxler doesn’t cause too many problems for the west London side however, as the Portuguese’s side currently trail Schalke by three points in their group.
The rise to prominence of the youngster has been impressive, with the winger having been in the first team for the past three years and already having played 122 matches for the club.
This has included vital Bundesliga and European experience against some of the best sides on the continent and nine caps for Germany – in what is a very talented squad – is also very promising.
