The five Premier League sides are after the youngster because of his fine form this season. After making his debut in August the midfielder has made 37 appearances for the troubled lower league side, creating one goal in that time. Scouts have been watching him for the last three months as a result.
With all of the Premier League’s top five interested in the teenager, the Whites have taken advantage and placed a massive £12 million price tag on the player. Even so it is unlikely that clubs of this calibre are going to baulk at that price.
Cook signed a contract to stay at Elland Road in January. However, with the deal only worth £4000 a week the top flight teams could easily outstrip his current wages to tempt a move away.
