Ntep has featured in every single league match for his club so far this season and led them to the fringes of the Champions League places in what is proving to be a thrilling season in Ligue 1 – meaning that Rennes will be desperate to keep hold of him in January.
The 22 year-old emerged through the much vaunted Auxerre youth system at the same time as current Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo, but he reportedly turned down the chance to move to the Emirates Stadium as the youngster – something that is looking like a wise move with his exciting progress.
