Nemanja Matic signed for Chelsea for the second time in January 2014 after initially being sent to SL Benfica as part of the deal to bring David Luiz to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues spent £21 million on acquiring him again, but it already appears money well spent. Matic’s physical presence and calm distribution in front of the back four gives the whole team a great platform upon which to build.
