Arsenal and Chelsea are set to be left disappointed as Man City have reportedly edged ahead of them in the race to sign Real Madrid ace Isco.
According to Mundo Deportivo, as reported by Sky Sports, City are monitoring his situation at the Bernabeu very carefully and will make their move provided that they know he wants to leave.

The Spaniard was edged out of the starting line-up at times under Carlo Ancelotti when all of the Italian’s big guns were fit, and he fears a repeat situation under Rafa Benitez.
If that is the case, then the former Malaga star may well look for a new challenge elsewhere and that could see him reunited with Manuel Pellegrini.
City were reportedly close to signing him back in 2013, but eventually lost out to Madrid who have seen Isco play a pivotal role for them as he has shown great versatility at times to fit into the team.
However, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez likely to be the first choice trio in an attacking trident, he will have to continue to find space further back in midfield.
If that isn’t a situation that suits him, then City will be on high alert to move in and make an official bid.
