The Premier League duo not giving up despite player admitting to be happy at Juve.
Premier League sides Liverpool and Arsenal are still firmly interested in one of their long-term targets in Juventus right-back Mauricio Isla, reports the Daily Star.
The Juve man has been in impressive form in the ongoing 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and has thus been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium to replace Manchester City’s latest signing Bacary Sagna, and to Liverpool as a long-term alternative to contract rebel Glen Johnson.
The 26-year-old Isla is a versatile player, who can also play as a winger, and his attacking instincts fit well into both Arsenal and Liverpool’s scheme of things.
Although the Gunners have been tracking the right-back, it is Reds boss Brendan Rodgers who is getting ready to make a formal offer of £15 million for the defender.
Isla, however, insists that he is happy with Italian giants Juventus and does not want a transfer out of Turin.
“I’m working hard for Chile and for Juve,” the South American said.
“I know that the fans love me, everything will depend on the coach. I’m happy to continue my adventure at Juventus.”
