West Ham United could be set to cash in on the interest in defender Winston Reid as both Liverpool and Arsenal to continue to show an interest in snapping him up, according to the Daily Mirror.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants to keep the New Zealand international at the club, but Reid is demanding £60,000-per-week and a £1million signing on fee to stay.
Allardyce has effectively been priced out of keeping his own player, but those kind of numbers won’t scare Arsenal or Liverpool, who are both desperate to make some additions to their defences in January.
West Ham have not given up on keeping Reid and insist that they are hopeful that he will stay at the Upton Park club, especially after their great start to the campaign which has left them dreaming of European football next season.
However, they may decide to cash in quickly and re-invest the money from the deal back into the squad.
