Arsenal set to be beaten to signing of France international after Inter Milan steal in.
Rubin Kazan defensive midfielder Yann M’Vila is set to put an end to a long standing transfer saga with Arsenal and Liverpool by agreeing a move to Italian side Internazionale this summer, reports the Daily Star.
The 23-year old was regularly linked with the English giants for the last couple of seasons, but his transfer saga gave the Gunners’ fans amusement more than anything else.
Some reports had suggested that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger dropped his pursuit of M’Vila after learning about his behavioral issues.
The French international is rated at around £12 million by Rubin Kazan, after he failed to make an impact for them since moving from Rennes in 2013.
Inter could be a good platform for the combative midfielder to get his career back on track, but neither Arsenal nor Liverpool would see him as a big miss given the wealth of options they have for a defensive midfielder in the transfer market.
