According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the clubs have practically agreed on terms with a €40m transfer fee being reported.
It is claimed that Juve had been holding out for €45m, but there will be performance-related bonuses included in the offer from the Bundesliga champions which will see the overall fee rise.
Further, it is reported that Vidal’s agent is already in Munich to discuss personal terms with suggestions that a four-year deal worth €6.5m per season has been offered.
Should the speculation be confirmed, it will be a huge blow to both the Gunners and United who had been tracking the Chilean international all summer.
Arsenal were reportedly close to signing him last month, but it appears as though they have now fallen down the pecking order with the German giants closing in on his signing.
