Arsenal and Man United have been left disappointed after Bayern made it clear that reported target Mario Gotze is not leaving this summer.
Bayern President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that the German giants have no plans to sell Gotze, even though Juventus had been strongly linked with securing a deal.

“We haven’t put any players up for sale, including Gotze,” Rummenigge insisted in an interview with Kicker.
“Everyone deserves a second chance, and that includes Mario. He has all of our support, and he’ll stay with us.”
It will also come as a blow to a trio of Premier League sides, although Liverpool’s spending may well have ended after they signed Christian Benteke last week.
However, both Arsenal and Man United have also been linked with an interest in the German international, with Louis Van Gaal revealing that he needs a ‘superstar’ that provides him with speed and creativity in the final third.
Gotze would arguably have fit that bill perfectly, but it appears as though his future lies in Bavaria for the time being.
