Marseille admit they are likely to lose Gignac.
Olympique Marseille president Vincent Lubrune has admitted that Pierre-Andre Gignac is likely to leave the club and has put Arsenal and Newcastle United on alert as a result, reports CaughtOffside.

Gignac is the current top-scorer in Ligue with an impressive 10 goals in 11 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, but his contract expires at the end of the season.
Despite the fact Marseille want to hold onto the 28-year-old they are realistic enough to realise this is unlikely to happen and the striker could be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
“It’s going to happen [Gignac leaving] because employer contributions and taxes have gone through the roof in France,” Lubrune was quoted by the Mirror.
“We would like to keep him, but it seems to me utopian to think that he will lower his salary to stay with us.”
Gignac joined Marseille from Toulouse in the summer of 2010 and has since scored 64 times in 160 games for the French club.
