Spurs and Arsenal battle European giants for French stopper…
Tottenham, Arsenal, Barcelona and AC Milan have all contacted PSG regarding the €12m signing of French international centre-half Mamadou Sako.
BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein has confirmed it via his Twitter account.
Sakho is 24-years-old, but has fallen down the pecking order at the Ligue 1 club after the arrival of teenage defender Marquinhos.
Arsenal are desperate to bring in a centre-half as Lorient Koscielny is suspended, and Thomas Vermaelen is injured. Spurs sold Steven Caulker to Cardiff earlier in the window, and are keen to continue their huge summer spending spree with the French ace.
