Fierce battle may ensue for midfield player this summer.
North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in bringing coveted Manchester City youngster Abdisalam Ibrahim to the capital for next season, according to reports in the Daily Star.
Ibrahim, 22, arrived at Eastlands on a four-year deal in 2007 from Norwegian outfit Fjellhamar, however, in the intervening six years the exciting midfield player has made just the three appearances for the 2012 Premier League champions, making his City debut as a substitute against Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup in Jan 2010.
However, the Norway Under-23 international was then shipped out on loan back home to Strømsgodset last year and with his contract at the mega-rich Premier League club due to run out next May, this summer is set to be a big one for the player in terms of where his future lies.
And with both Tottenham and Arsenal reportedly keen to bring the forward to London when his year-long loan spell in Norway comes to an end this summer, Ibrahim could soon have some tough choices to make.
