Serie A club chief says no Jovetic discussions have taken place with suitors.
Fiorentina director general Beppe Marotta has insisted the club are not in talks with Arsenal or Juventus over striker Stevan Jovetic.
The Montenegrin forward has been linked with moves to the Gunners and the Scudetto winners this summer after telling the Viola he wants a ‘new experience’.
Juve have reportedly offered a player plus cash deal for the 23-year-old, who scored 13 Serie A goals as Fiorentina narrowly missed out on a place in next season’s Champions League, while the British media have claimed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is confident of landing the player.
By when asked about the Viola’s transfer business, Marotta said the club were not yet discussing Jovetic’s likely departure with either Arsenal or Juve.
“Jovetic? He is very talented, but we have not begun talks for him,” Marotta is quoted as saying by Football Italia.
