Arsenal are currently going after defender Faouzi Ghoulam, according to SoccerLens.
The Napoli full-back is being valued at €12m, but the Gunners are attempting to buy him for €10m at most.
The Gunners are keen on convincing Napoli to sell Ghoulam to them since defender Nacho Monreal is expected to transfer to Athletic Bilbao on a three-year deal.
It is assumed that Bilbao will be able to seal the deal for Monreal once Arsenal strike a deal for Ghoulam.
Monreal continues to insist that he is content at the Emirates, but he continues to be linked to a move to the La Liga club.
Although Arsenal remain interested in buying Ghoulam, the Napoli defender is also drawing interest from Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Ghoulam spent his last two seasons at Napoli and made 21 Serie A appearances for them in the 2014-15 season.
It remains to be seen whether Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be willing to bend over the team’s €10m limit for buying the 24-year-old Algerian international.
