Pedro has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool, however, The Independent reports the Gunners have been keeping tabs on the Spanish international and are interested in luring the player to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old scored six goals in La Liga last season during Barcelona’s title-winning campaign, but saw himself become a bit-part player behind the outstanding front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
He made 35 appearances for the Blaugrana, but 20 of those were from the substitutes bench.
According to the report, Pedro has a massive £110m buy-out clause in his contract but it is expected he could become available for around £15m.
Pedro is highly-rated by Barcelona and was part of Spain’s 2010 World Cup and EURO 2012 triumphs.
