Former England international Rodney Marsh has reported that Real Madrid have accepted an offer from Arsenal over the transfer of Karim Benzema.
Marsh, who made nine appearances for England, told American radio station SiriusXM FC that the La Liga giants had accepted a bid from the Gunners for the Frenchman, and later backed up the claim on Twitter.

While Marsh did not mention the exact figure of the fee, it has been previously reported that Real Madrid would only consider allowing the former Lyon man to leave should the club receive a bid of £45m.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen to bolster his attack before the end of the transfer window, and Eurosport reports the Frenchman could make a double swoop for PSG stars Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
PSG completed the £44m signing of Manchester United winger Angel di Maria this summer, meaning both Cavani and Lavezzi will have dropped down the pecking order at the Parc de Princes.
