Wenger setting no timeframe on Ozil’s return to action.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed Germany’s suggestion that record signing Mesut Ozil will be out for 10-12 weeks, report the Express, after an injury discovered on international duty ruled the German out for what is set to be a considerable period of time.

Wenger, however, has said that he will follow the club’s own recommendations on the injury and how long it is likely to take the former Real Madrid star to recover:
“Then he had a scan and it was bad news. We have our own specialist giving us his opinion after reading the scan and examining Mesut. We will follow our own recommendations.”
Ozil picked up the injury during the weekend’s Premier League defeat to rivals Chelsea, but played on until the end of the match, with the extent of the injury only becoming known once he had arrived for duty with Germany.
