Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has conceded that he isn’t finished in the summer transfer window just yet.
Ahead of the Community Shield clash on Sunday against Chelsea, the Gunners’ only notable bit of business has been the signing of Petr Cech.
However, they have continuously been linked with a move for another player before the season starts, with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema named regularly as the primary target.

While Wenger didn’t discuss specific targets or even disclose what he is looking for, he did drop a hint that he will delve back into the market before the window closes.
“If we can strengthen, we will do it,” he said at a press conference, as a reported by the Mirror.
The French tactician arguably needs to bolster his defensive midfield options as well as signing another striker, but he continues to remain coy on the subject until something official is possible.
Benzema hinted on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon that he could be set for a new adventure, but it remains to be seen whether or not the Frenchman arrives at the Emirates in the coming weeks.
