The highly-rated Vasco da Gama midfielder will spend time at the club gaining experience says he is anxious to get going with the Gunners.
The youngster also said he would love to move a European club permanently in the future.
“I’m anxious for this new stage in my life. Of course I have the dream of playing for a European club, but everything has its right time. It will be a good experience. I want to learn,” Indio is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
The player also expressed his admiration for Arsenal forward Theo Walcott, saying: “I like him a lot. His style of play is very fast, which pleases me.”
While this may only be a week trial for Indio and seemingly nothing more at this moment in time, it could be a sign that Arsene Wenger is already looking towards the next crop of young midfielders that he will look to develop and bring through the Arsenal ranks.
Where some Arsenal fans may see this a good investment, some may be wondering why Arsene is not looking at the immediate future of the team.
