Mikel Arteta impressed by the potential of Dan Crowley.

Former Aston Villa prospect Crowley was the best player on the pitch as Arsenal began their FA Youth Cup campaign with a win over Reading recently, scoring a wonderful free kick in the process, and Arteta has been massively impressed by the teenager:
“He has impressed me for two reasons.”
“The first is of course his talent, but also he is gaining maturity too, and if he keeps doing that then he can be a very good player.”
“I’m glad they have given him the armband in the Youth Cup because that will give him more responsibility and he will need to be a real example to the other players.”
He’s at the right club with the right people around him to guide him and to become a very important player.”
