The Gunners want to bring the 21-year-old to the Emirates Stadium to bolster their attacking options, with the French starlet looking an improvemt on the likes of Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck in that part of the pitch, as well as loaned-out duo Lukas Podolski and Joel Campbell.
Arsenal have been monitoring Fekir’s progress this season, and it is no surprise that manager Arsene Wenger has been suitably impressed by the player’s 14 goals and 9 assists from midfield for Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
It looks like the £15m-rated attacker could already command a place alongside the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla in Arsenal’s starting lineup, and the player himself may well be tempted to continue his development under the guidance of Arsene Wenger, who is known for working well with talented young players.
