Brozovic, dubbed ‘the new Luka Modric’, is the latest in a number of technically gifted Croatian midfielders to have emerged in recent years, following on from the likes of Modric, current Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic and superb Inter Milan attacking midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
He has already made over 50 appearances for Dinamo, the country’s biggest and most prestigious football club, having also turned out for smaller sides Lokomotiva and Hrvatski, giving Brozovic an excellent grounding in senior football, whilst he also formed a part of Niko Kovac’s squad for the World Cup.
