Trio eyeing West Brom’s Saido Berahino.
West Brom are facing a battle to hold onto Saido Berahino amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton, according to the Daily Mail.
Baggies boss Steve Clarke has reportedly asked chairman Jeremy Peace to speed up contract negotiations with the 20-year-old, who earns just £850-a-week and has less than 12 months to run on his current deal.
All three suitors have sent scouts to watch the England under-21 international in recent weeks and Clarke is desperate to tie the youngster down to a new contract.
Initial talks between Berahino and the club have taken place but the parties are yet to sit down for serious discussions, which has left Clarke fearing the Midlands outfit could be priced out of the market, if one of the forward’s admirers makes a serious offer.
Berahino has shot to prominence this season, netting five goals including the winner against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The forward has also scored four goals for the England under-21 side, which has led to speculation that senior team boss Roy Hodgson could consider him for next month’s international friendlies.
