The Spanish international was reportedly the subject of a £15.5m offer from Chelsea earlier this week, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with an interest previously, but it appears as though the Premier League trio will be left disappointed.
“Have I spoken to someone from Chelsea? No, unfortunately not,” agent Manuel Garcia Quillon told plbold.dk, according to Football Italia.
“As things stand, Jose will not be leaving Napoli. It is a decision made by President Aurelio De Laurentiis.”
The 28-year-old was signed for €9.5m in 2013, but has impressed during his stint in Naples which has led to his price-tag doubling.
Whether or not Chelsea return to test the resolve of coach Maurizio Sarri remains to be seen, but it looks as though the Italian tactician is adamant that he wants to keep as many of the players in the current squad as possible.
