According to The Daily Star, the Spaniard has attracted the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool ahead of the January transfer window, but it remains to be seen which of the Premier League giants is able to secure his signature if he is indeed available.
Given the increased competition after the signing of Mateo Kovacic from Inter in the summer, Isco has been the man to suffer at times at the Bernabeu so far this season and that has sparked his reported desire to find a new challenge.
Having ended his 14-game streak without a goal, the Spanish international will now hope that it can be a catalyst for a run of good form, although he may well still hope to establish himself as a key part of Rafa Benitez’s plans for the rest of the season before making a decision.
Nevertheless, at just 23 years of age, the Madrid star would be a significant signing for any side, and would undoubtedly bolster Arsenal’s bid to win the Premier League if he joined this season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are beginning a new era under Jurgen Klopp and Isco may well consider himself a perfect fit under the German’s philosophy, while a move to Chelsea would appear a little more problematic given the issues Jose Mourinho is currently dealing with.
However, with such a strong Spanish contingent already at Stamford Bridge, he may well be swayed into joining the likes of Pedro, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa in west London.
